UPCOMING EVENTS
The objective of these conferences is to enable anybody involved in the planning, delivery or management of diabetes care to participate in discussions and formations of recommendations about the implementation of the Diabetes National Service Framework. The conferences will also assist in the widespread dissemination of information about the National Service Framework.
Each conference will cover a range of topics, all reflecting the priorities of the Diabetes National Service Framework. After a particular topic has been discussed at length and opinions and recommendations clarified at a number of meetings, a definitive report on that topic will be published.
The objective of the programme of conferences is not to make a profit but to establish a pattern throughout the country that does not deter health professionals and managers of any grade from attending because of difficulties in meeting expenses of travel, accommodation and registration fees.
